Missing man’s truck found in North Bay after disappearance in Brampton

Police across Ontario are searching for a man missing from Brampton after his truck was found abandoned in a North Bay parking lot.

The North Bay Police Service and Peel Regional Police are searching for 51-year-old Marcus, a man from Brampton who was reported missing on Aug. 4.

Police say family members reported Marcus missing after he was last seen in Brampton on July 29.

The following day, police say Marcus was spotted at a gas station in Sudbury.

Police later located Marcus’s vehicle in North Bay in the parking lot of Giant Tiger on Algonquin Ave. Investigators say Marcus was seen exiting his vehicle around 7 a.m. on July 30 and walking towards a Taco Bell on Algonquin Ave.

Police and family members are concerned for Marcus’s well-being and are asking anyone who may have information about his disappearance to contact investigators.

Marcus is described as a 51-year-old white male standing approximately 5’10” tall with a medium build, short red hair and a red beard.

He was last seen wearing a grey long-sleeve shirt, grey cargo shorts, black reading glasses and carrying a black and green backpack.
