Missing 87-year-old from Mississauga has family concerned

Dirt bike crash sends youth to hospital with injuries in Brampton

Update: The missing man, Pietro, 87, has been located, police say. He is safe and has been reunited with his family.

 

Peel Regional Police are reaching out to the public for assistance in locating a missing elderly man from Mississauga in hopes of returning him home safe and sound.

On Monday (Sept. 4) around 3 p.m., police say Pietro was last seen in the area of Parkerhill Rd. and Hillcrest Ave., northeast of Dundas St. E. 

Police describe Pietro as being five-foot-nine-inches tall, with short brown hair and signs of balding.

He was last seen wearing a beige cardigan, grey track pants and black slippers.

Pietro’s family and police are concerned for his safety.

Anyone with information on the man’s whereabouts is asked to call police at 905-453-2121.
