Messy winter weather could impact flights at Pearson Airport in Mississauga

A potential blast of wet, wintery weather could impact flight schedules at Pearson Airpot in Mississauga.
Snow, freezing rain and rain are possible in areas across southern Ontario starting this afternoon (Nov. 8) and lasting into the evening and Thursday as well.
Environment Canada is currently forecasting a few flurries and periods of ice pellets beginning this afternoon in Mississauga.
The weather forecast has Pearson Airport suggesting travellers check their flight status before heading out today.
Airport authorities are closely monitoring the winter weather heading towards southern Ontario, Pearson said on X (formerly Twitter).
“At this time, we’re only expecting rain at the airport but passengers should check their flight status with the airline…” Pearson Airport advised.
