Daniel Sawh of Brampton has just won a lotto prize of $79,814.60.

“I enjoy playing Pools, Lotto 6/49 and Instant games,” Sawh told OLG. “I’ve won before, but this is my biggest win!”

The 31-year-old checked his ticket while at the store, according to OLG. “I was very excited! It’s a nice feeling. I’m really happy,” he told OLG.

According to OLG, Sawh said he told his mom and family right away about his big win. “They are very happy for me.”

Sawh plans to pay some bills, put a down payment on a house and save for a vacation. “It’s a big relief,” he told OLG.

The winning ticket was purchased at Midland Convenience on Midland Avenue in Scarborough.

David Hilton of Brampton also won $100,000 by matching the last six of seven Encore numbers in the exact order in the September 30, 2020, Ontario 49 draw.

“This is my first big win,” Hilton told OLG. “I was shocked when I found out I won. I thought the machine made a mistake!”

According to OLG, Hilton drove home to tell his wife right away. “She didn’t know if I was joking or not. She is very excited for me.”

Hilton told OLG he plans on looking after his family and paying off some bills with his win.

“If I had won it 25 years ago, who knows what would have happened. I can’t get into trouble with it now,” he told OLG.

The winning ticket was purchased at Southgate Smoke & Gift on Balmoral Drive in Brampton.
