A Mediterranean fusion restaurant chain has opened a new location in Mississauga.
Tahini’s just opened at 3-2963 Argentia Rd. in Meadowvale West. It is the third location in the city.
The restaurant chain, known for its healthy Middle Eastern food, offers fast-casual dining with a mix of traditional flavours and modern twists.
“At Tahini’s, we believe in creating more than just great food – we strive to create spaces where communities come together,” said Omar Hamam, founder and CEO of Tahini’s in a press release. “Mississauga is an incredible city with a rich diversity of cultures, and we are excited to become a staple in this community.”
The new location reflects Tahini’s signature blend of modern design and warm hospitality, making it the perfect spot for everything from quick on-the-go lunches to family dinners, the release states.
The restaurant offers Mediterranean-inspired dishes, including shawarma bowls, wraps and falafel.
“Customers can explore our exciting new menu items, like the smoked beef brisket shawarma, a groundbreaking addition to the Canadian dining scene,” added Hamam.
Franchise owner Mohammed Sheece is a realtor with deep roots in the local community, and his wife Sajida, owns Hero Certified Burgers in Mississauga.
“Tahini’s is about bringing people together and creating a welcoming space for the community,” said Sheece. “Surrounded by major retailers and fuelled by high traffic from the nearby GO Station and ongoing development, this spot offers incredible potential for growth, and we are excited to be part of such a vibrant area.”
Tahini’s has over 50 locations across North America and continues to grow. The franchise plans to double its footprint with 100 locations by 2025.
