Massive winning lottery tickets were sold in Ajax, Niagara Falls and Hamilton

A handful of Ontario residents are much richer after winning a prize in the most recent Lotto Max draw (Apr. 1).
While the massive $70 million jackpot went to someone in the Prairies, OLG says four Maxmillions prizes worth $500,000 were won in parts of Ontario: Ajax, Parry Sound/Nipissing, Lennox and Addington, and Frontenac.
A ticket worth $250,000 was sold in Niagara Falls.
Four second prize Lotto Max tickets (worth $373,118.20) were sold in Hamilton’s Stoney Creek, Leeds and Grenville, Toronto, and on OLG’s website.
Four $100,000 Encore prizes were also sold in Stoney Creek, Scarborough and York Region.
The Maximillions prize ticket worth $1 million was reportedly sold in the Prince Edward/Hastings County region.
The jackpot for the next Lotto Max draw on Apr. 5 will be an estimated $38 million.
