Massive Nike store is open at Square One in Mississauga

Never mind just do it, they just did.

Nike has opened its giant store at Mississauga’s Square One.

Square One made the official announcement of the opening of the iconic brand store on its Instagram account late Monday night (July 8).

Customers of the worldwide athletic apparel company have been anxiously awaiting and the wait is no longer.

“A new Nike (store) has landed at Square One!” read Square One’s Instagram post. “Discover the newly renovated and expanded store featuring all of your favourites in athletic performance and lifestyle apparel.”

The expanded store is located on Level 2 near Entrance 1 and takes up nearly an entire corner section on the upper level of the popular shopping centre.

Customers won’t be able to miss the new store which boasts its worldwide known Nike “swoosh” logo painted on the outside the wall.

The popular American athletic footwear and apparel corporation became a household name around the globe decades ago and today has 42 stores in Canada, 25 of them in Ontario, according to online data company ScrapeHero.

Toronto has five Nike stores while Mississauga and Ottawa are home to three stores.

The company’s instantly recognizable “Just Do It” tagline was created in 1988.
