Your credits are tracked on radio-frequency identification (RFID) wristbands that you get when entering the facility. Simply load, tap, play, and win! Lots of cool prizes are up for grabs including board games, plush toys, and even drones and GoPro cameras.

However, the reinvented Playdium experience goes far beyond the arcade games you would find at most Playdiums. There’s so much more to do!

So, what sets this new Playdium facility apart from the rest?

You can play up to eight immersive virtual reality games at the VRcade ATOM Pod. Travel through time to defeat hordes of zombies, challenge your friends to a Wild West-style shootout, and more.

Compete with up to six players in the VRcade Arena. This free-roaming virtual reality environment is perfect for those who like a little competition.

Test your balance 25 feet above the games floor with Playdium’s ropes course, featuring 10 different sky-high obstacles and ending with a 60-foot sky trail across the facility!

Ten pin bowling is also available for up to six players. Who says you have to go to a bowling alley to test your skills or luck at this old-school classic?

The adventurous foodies can look forward to the Dirty South BBQ Pork Nachos (tortilla chips, bbq pulled pork, cheese, shredded lettuce, spiced corn, green onion, Alabama white sauce, BBQ sauce) and Korean Fried Chicken Nachos (tortilla chips, crispy fried chicken, cheese, pickled cucumber, kimchi, green onion, bulgogi, Seoul sauce, garlic aioli); Pork Carnita tacos & bowls, and flavour-packed sandwiches such as Shrimp Po Boy (Cajun fried shrimp, shredded lettuce, tomato, pickled red onion, spicy remoulade).

You’ll also find the classics like chicken wings, classic nachos, pepperoni pizza, cheeseburger, and French fries; there’s a kids menu and some Beyond Meat vegetarian options as well.

Soft serve ice cream is available all year round in fun, great flavours such as Salted Caramel Crunch (vanilla soft serve, salted caramel pretzels, Skor bits, salted caramel sauce, whipped cream), Choco-Loco (vanilla soft serve, chocolate cookie crumble, chocolate cake, whipped cream, maraschino cherry), and The Unicorn (vanilla soft serve, unicorn sugar dust, sour Nerds, whipped cream).
