Massive holiday market now at Square One in Mississauga

‘Tis the season for holiday shopping and joyous festivities, and you can find both at Square One in Mississauga.
As the largest mall in Ontario and second largest in Canada, Square One’s wide variety of retailers are offering an array of special offers – everything from beauty and fashion to entertainment and electronics – making it one of the best places to tick off items from your shopping list.
While you’re shopping, look out for a lineup of festive events being held at Square One during the holiday season. There’s live music, a holiday market, charity drives and Santa himself!
Here’s what’s happening at Square One for the holidays:
Santa Central presented by Coca-Cola
Santa is back at Square One and ready for photos! From now until December 24th, families can visit the Santa setup at Centre Court on Level 1 to get their photos taken and printed. You can reserve a spot here.
Here’s when you can find Santa:
- Monday to Friday: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
- Sunday: 11:00 am – 7:00 pm
- Saturday, December 24: 10:00 am – 3:00
This immersive exhibit by Gay Lea will enable attendees to experience five immersive and interactive installations complimentary to people of all ages.
Located on Level 2 across from H&M, this exhibit will be on from now until Dec. 22.
After a two-year hiatus, The Carol Brunettes are back! This Toronto-based Christmas caroling quartet has been bringing holiday cheer since 2012, and will be performing inside The Food District on the following dates:
- December 9th: 12pm – 4pm & 5pm – 9:30pm
- December 16th: 12pm – 4pm & 5:30pm – 9:30pm
Enjoy the festive sounds of The Toronto String Quartet, one of the most renowned musical groups that have made appearances at a wide variety of events. Catch them performing in the Grand Rotunda (on Level 2, across from Holt Renfrew) at Entrance 3 on the following dates:
- December 6: 4pm – 6pm
- December 13: 4pm – 6pm
- December 20: 4pm – 6pm
Find the perfect gifts while supporting female-owned businesses with The Holiday Market from Run the World. This luxurious market will feature tons of unique businesses selling chocolates, jewelry, flowers, beauty products and even more items, all perfect for holiday shopping! Plus, many opportunities to take your next holiday photo.
The Holiday Market is on now until December 24th on Level 2, across from H&M. Visit Square One’s website to find out which businesses will be participating throughout the month.
Enjoy the rich and creamy taste of Vodkow, a lactose-free vodka and cream liqueur made from Canadian milk. Now until December 24th, shoppers can sample a variety of flavours at Vodkow’s new pop-up, located on Level 1 near Chatters.
There’s beauty in giving back! On December 17th, shoppers can purchase a makeup or skincare bag filled with full-sized mystery items at a fixed donation price. All funds and proceeds will be donated to Sick Kids.
Give the gift of Christmas to a family in need. From November 14th until December 23rd, new unwrapped toys can be donated at the Security office in Square One, located on Level 1 near Walmart. You can also make a cash donation at the Salvation Army’s website.
Salvation Army Christmas Kettles
The annual Christmas Kettle campaign returns as one of Canada’s largest and most recognizable annual charitable events. This year, you’ll find the Salvation Army band performing in Square One at the following times:
- December 2, 9, 16 and 23: 7pm – 9pm
- December 3, 10 and 17: 12pm – 2pm
