March 26 Weather: A warm rainy day on the way to southern Ontario

Remnants of Hurricane Beryl to hit Ontario this week

After a few days of cold March weather, it looks like things are starting to warm up GTA but it’s gonna be a wet one tomorrow.

The day will begin cloudy and dry at 6 a.m., according to the Environment Canada sensor at Mississauga’s Pearson Airport, and will remain overcast throughout the morning.

During this time, temperatures will steadily rise from three degrees up to nine by 2 p.m. By then it will most likely already be raining. Environment Canada expects showers to begin around noon and last throughout the evening.

The chance of precipitation with jump to 80 per cent at noon and stay there until Wednesday morning. Temperatures will dip a bit overnight but rebound to 12 degrees tomorrow.

Winds will remain moderate throughout the day, starting at around 30 km/h with gusts up to about 50 km/h. They’ll fall to about 20 km/h around 6 p.m.
