Man wanted for three sexual assaults on same walking trail in Mississauga

Police are searching for a man reportedly responsible for sexually assaulting three people on the same walking trail in Mississauga.
Peel Regional Police say that on Friday, (May 31), shortly before 3:30 p.m., the suspect approached a female victim from behind while she was walking on Applewood Hills Greenbelt Trail.
Authorities have not specified whether the victim was a woman, teenager, or younger.
The suspect allegedly sexually assaulted the victim before running away, police say.
Fortunately, the victim did not sustain any physical injuries.
Officials confirm that the suspect and victim were not known to each other.
In addition, the suspect is believed to be responsible for two other sexual assaults on the same trail in 2023.
While the suspect is wanted for three counts of sexual assault, authorities believe there may be additional victims and are urging individuals in the area to remain vigilant.
Investigators describe the suspect as a white man with a height between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-9. He is could be 20 to 30 years old. He has a thin build, slicked-back black hair, and a grey backpack.
Police have released surveillance images of the suspect, hoping the public can assist in identifying and locating him.
