Man sustains ‘life-altering’ injuries in overnight Brampton crash: Police

A 28-year-old man has sustained ‘life-altering’ injuries in an overnight crash in Brampton.

The Major Collision Bureau of Peel Regional Police has been called in to investigate the crash that took place in the area of Highway 50 and Mayfield Road just after 12:30 Thursday morning (March 31).

According to police, both vehicles involved in the crash flipped and one person had to be transported to a trauma centre. The man’s injuries, police said, have been deemed non-life-threatening but life-altering.

All lanes of Highway 50 from Countryside and Nashville to Mayfield Road are closed for an investigation.

Motorists are urged to use alternate routes.
