Man steals debit terminal from popular Mississauga, Oakville restaurants

The public’s help is needed in identifying a man who stole a debit terminal from restaurants in Oakville and Mississauga.

On March 13, the suspect first walked into the Keg Steakhouse and Bar in Oakville, located at 300 Hays Blvd., and stole a debit terminal from the restaurant.

He then proceeded to use the terminal to make multiple refunds onto various money cards.

The same man then later walked into a Keg Steakhouse and Bar in Mississauga and again stole a debit terminal, committing the same offence.

Halton Regional police describe the male suspect as being 40-50 years old, five-foot-nine to six-feet-tall and somewhere between 180 and 250 pounds.

He had brown/grey hair and was wearing glasses.
