Man stabbed after a road rage incident on Highway 401 in Pickering, Ontario

One person was stabbed in a suspected road rage incident in Pickering.
Police put out a call for witnesses or dash cam footage of a stabbing on Highway 401 on Sunday (July 28) around 8 p.m., OPP said in a post on X.
The stabbing happened on the right shoulder in the eastbound lanes between Highway 412 and Brock Street in Pickering, police said.
The alleged road rage incident occurred between drivers of a green SUV and an older model silver Nissan hatchback on Highway 401 near Brock Road in Pickering, OPP later clarified. An earlier post indicated the road rage incident happened in Whitby.
The man who was stabbed was sent to hospital, police said. There was no further information on his injuries.
Police seek a man described as Black, approximately 25 years old with dreadlocks.
He was wearing Nike shorts and a t-shirt.
The vehicle is described as an older model silver Nissan with damage to the rear passenger side window. There were boxing gloves with the Jamaican flag on them hanging from the rearview mirror.
Witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage of the road rage or stabbing are asked to call the Whitby OPP Detachment at 905-668-3388.
