Man injured in an industrial accident in Mississauga

A man was injured in an industrial accident on Tuesday night in Mississauga.
Emergency crews were called to a business in the area of Statesman Drive and Edwards Boulevard for a report of an industrial accident just before 8:20 p.m., Peel Regional Police told INsauga.com.
A man reportedly had his arm caught in a machine “for an extended period of time” at Guycan Plastics Limited, @Media371 said on X. Guycan is a designer and manufacturer of rigid plastic food packaging.
Peel Paramedics confirmed they transported one person with moderate injuries to hospital.
Police said the Ministry of Labour has taken over the investigation.
