One person sustained minor injuries after a vehicle struck a restaurant in Mississauga.

Police and paramedics responded to the crash into a building near Dixie and Burnhamthorpe roads around 1:20 p.m. on Thursday, a Peel Regional Police spokesperson told INsauga.com.

Photos from the scene show a grey car lodged into Porchetta Roll at 4120 Dixie Rd. The car smashed a front window and partially entered the building.

The man injured was inside the building, police said.

Police said the driver remained on scene and was not injured in the crash.

There is no word on any charges yet.

On Friday morning, Porchetta Roll was marked as temporarily closed.

This is the second crash into a building in the area in recent weeks. In November, a vehicle crashed into the Chuck E. Cheese at Rockwood Mall.
