Man in Brampton shot in residence on Christmas Eve

A man in Brampton suffered non-life threatening injuries when he was shot in a residence in the city on Christmas Eve, say police.
At 6:07 p.m., the Peel Regional Police received multiple reports about a shooting in the area of Williams Parkway and Chinguacousy Road. The responding officers located a victim in a residence suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The investigation is ongoing, so there might be a police presence in the area for several hours.
The extent of the shooting victim’s injuries has not been determined, other than that they are non-life threatening.
