Man faces assault charges after a crash in Mississauga

A man faces several charges after a crash on the QEW in Mississauga.
Emergency crews responded to the collision in the westbound lanes of the QEW at Dixie Road early Sunday morning, OPP said in a post on X.
There were no injuries reported in the crash, police said.
Police said the driver attempted to resist arrest.
A 42-year-old man from Mississauga faces impaired driving, assault, obstruct peace officer, resist arrest and open liquor charges, police said.
