Police are looking to the public to help them identify those involved in the killing of a man in a Mississauga home.

Tonight, police provided an update on the altercation that took place at a home near Central Parkway and Joan Drive just before 4 a.m. this morning (Oct. 1).

Police are still trying to sort out the circumstances surrounding the death, however, the Homicide Unit has been called in to take over the investigation.

Earlier Peel police said they arrived at the scene following reports of an altercation and home invasion. There, they found a man in his 50s suffering from gunshot wounds. The man was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.

Two other men were found and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. They were not shot.

“Several suspects fled in a white-coloured SUV,” police said adding they believe three people were involved.
