Man dies after hit-and-run in Mississauga; driver still not caught

A man has died after a hit-and-run in Mississauga earlier this month and the driver has still not been caught, police say.
Peel Regional Police responded to the scene on Dundas Street West between Erindale Station and Old Carriage roads at 11:40 p.m. on Sept. 6 after a 27-year-old pedestrian from Mississauga was hit by a car.
He taken to hospital in life-threatening condition.
Police told INsauga.com that he died on Sept. 18.
The vehicle involved in the collision reportedly left the scene.
Police said Monday that no charges have been laid yet and there is no suspect information to provide.
Investigators were observed documenting the scene the morning of Sept. 7, with debris scattered on the roadway.
