Man charged following two sexual assault reports in Burlington

A Burlington man has been arrested in connection with two alleged sexual assaults.
Halton police say that officers launched an investigation on Nov. 13 after a woman reported a sexual assault. On Nov. 14, police arrested 35-year-old Burlington man Trevor Cant and charged him with assault and voyeurism.
Police say that over the course of the investigation, a second woman was identified as a victim and the accused was charged with sexual assault and strangulation in connection with her case.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing and released with a future court date.
Police say the accused is known to access dating sites and social media applications where he goes by the user names Trevor Cant and Tre Dizz.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims.

The charges have not been proven in court.
