Man charged after 2 break-ins at same Caledon home

One person was charged after two break-ins were reported at the same Caledon home.

The first break-in was reported at the home Valleygreen Crescent on Sept. 26, OPP said.

Valuable items were stolen including vehicle key fobs, police said.

Police said a second break-and-enter was reported at the same home on Oct. 1. This time a person attempted to steal a vehicle but officers later located the car, police said.

On that same day, officers searched a home and the stolen vehicle with a search warrant, police said.

Stolen property and currency were seized, police said.

Usamah Kasis Bishara, 31, of Maple, faces several charges including enter dwelling house – commit indictable offence, enter dwelling house with intent to commit indictable offence – two counts, possession of break in instruments , possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, possession of a forged document with intent, disguise with intent, possession of a credit card – five counts, and possession of identity document – seven counts.

Bishara was held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville.
