Alleged sexual abuser in custody but police urge there may be more victims in the GTA

Police have apprehended a suspect linked to the alleged sexual assault of a 15-year-old in Niagara Falls.

Niagara police said officers have been investigating the assault case since August of last year.

Police said the female victim met a male online using the Snapchat app.

The male suspect then proceeded to “befriend” the victim and arranged for an in-person meeting. In August 2023, the victim met with the suspect near Welland.

The victim was then allegedly sexually assaulted in a dark four-door sedan the suspect was driving.

After a year-long investigation process, detectives were then able to identify the suspect.

Today (Nov.1), London man Saad Jalal Ismail Aldahki, 25, turned himself in and was charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.

The accused is currently in custody for a bail hearing.

Police believe there may be more alleged victims throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the NRPS officers or Crime Stoppers.
