The federal government has distributed a massive recall list for vitamin brands commonly distributed throughout Ontario due to a risk of metal fibres.

Several safety alerts — distributed on behalf of Health Canada — were launched Friday (July 19) and specifically focused on numerous brands commonly available nationwide.

Some of the key labels on this list include Costco’s Kirkland Signature, Webber Naturals and London Drugs.

Ontario residents should be mindful of their vitamin inventory and verify that none of the affected brands are currently lining any medicine cabinets.

The list of recalled products is as follows:

  • B100 Complex Timed Release (Kirkland Signature)
  • Vitamin B Complex with Vitamin C (Life)
  • Prenatal Multi-vitamins 100 Tablets with Folic Acid (Option+)
