Major Brampton roadway closed after e-bike rider hit by motorist

A man who was driving an e-bike has been seriously injured in Brampton after being struck by a motorist.
The collision has also resulted in Mclaughlin Road being closed in both directions between Charolais Boulevard and Elgin Drive, Peel Regional Police say. They are advising motorists to take alternative routes to avoid the area for the next little while.
The police say that the collision occurred around 4:26 p.m. on Tuersday afternoon. The man who was on the e-bike was transported to a trauma centre, which is often the response when a person has life-altering or life-threatening injuries.
