Jan 16 Weather: It will feel like -27 and strong winds persist in southern Ontario

It’s been an unseasonably warm week, but the warmer temperatures won’t last much longer in Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton and southern Ontario cities.

A blast of cold weather is expected next week, with temperatures dropping to a high of one to two degrees Celsius on Wednesday and Thursday.

Periods of rain are likely on Tuesday, with a chance of snow flurries on Tuesday night, Wednesday and Thursday.

While it’s expected to remain cold for most of the month, another temperature swing is expected to arrive in late November and early December.

This swing will bring warmer temperatures back to Ontario and other parts of Canada, although Ontario may not see the warmth until a few days into December.
