Logistics centre breaks ground across from Toronto Premium Outlets in Halton Hills

A new commercial real estate development has broken ground on the corner of Trafalgar Road and Steeles Avenue in Halton Hills.

Located across from Toronto Premium Outlets near the borders of Milton, Mississauga and Brampton, Prologis is a leader in logistics real estate and has been a long-time business partner of the Toronto community.

The company builds, owns and manages modern and sustainable logistics facilities that create jobs, support businesses operating in the Toronto area and help deliver the goods residents and businesses need. This is Prologis’ first project in Halton Hills.

“This is a significant investment in Halton Hills,” said Mayor Lawlor, “I’m delighted to see this project come to fruition and construction starting. Prologis has been an excellent partner throughout the development process, and we look forward to working with them in the future.”

Called Prologis Halton Hills Gateway, the new development is located at 8111-8119 Trafalgar Road, on the north side of Steeles Avenue and directly across the street from the Toronto Premium Outlet mall.

The site will feature three high-quality and sustainable buildings, offering an approximate total of 1.3 million square feet of space. The buildings will also achieve a sustainable building certification.
