LOCKDOWN: Possible knife at secondary school leads to lockdown in Brampton

Update: Police said just after 4 p.m. that the lockdown had been lifted. No weapon was located and no injuries were reported. The investigation ongoing.
A possible weapon sighting has led police to lockdown a Brampton school.
Peel Regional Police say the call came in around 2:40 p.m. on Friday about the “possible sighting of a knife” at Turner Fenton Secondary School on Kennedy Road South in Brampton.
Police say the weapon sighting is unconfirmed and the lockdown is in place as a precaution.
Few details were immediately available but a police spokesperson says no injuries have been reported and officers are on the scene.
Police say the will provide updates on when the lockdown is expected to be lifted.
