Here’s a look at the new routes launching this fall and winter:

Porter Airlines

The airline company started its new daily service between Toronto and Phoenix, Arizona on Oct. 3. The non-stop flight connects Canada’s largest city to one of North America’s top destinations for sun, outdoor adventures and vibrant culture. This route also offers connections to other Canadian cities like Montréal, Ottawa and Halifax.

According to canadianaviationnews.ca, Porter Airlines is also offering a premium travel experience on its new routes, featuring no middle seats, complimentary wine and beer served in glassware, snacks and free high-speed WiFi.

Flights depart Toronto at 10 a.m. and arrive in Phoenix at noon local time, making it a convenient option for travellers looking to escape the Canadian winter.

It is expected to strengthen economic, family and cultural connections between Canada and Mexico year-round.

Qatar Airways

The airline will begin its much-anticipated service from Toronto to Doha on Dec. 11. The three weekly flights will provide seamless access to over 140 destinations through its hub in Doha, including top destinations in Asia and Africa. This route is expected to enhance Qatar Airways’ footprint in Canada, adding to its existing Montreal service.

Flights are anticipated to depart Toronto at 2:40 p.m. and arrive in Doha at 10:10 a.m. the next day. The return leg leaves Doha at 7:45 a.m. and lands in Toronto at 1:45 p.m. on the same day.
