Last days of school arrive for Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Halton Hills students

If you are a kid, summer officially begins this week when classes end for all students in Halton Region.
This applies to students who are in either the Halton District School Board (HDSB) or the Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB).
Those in the elementary panel will have to attend classes right up until the end with the last day in school being Friday, June 28.
However, there will be an early dismissal for elementary school kids on Friday.
Halton Student Transportation Services the early closing on Friday will affect the bus schedule.

For secondary school students, the final day of classes is Thursday, June 27.
For high school students, that extra day off will be used by teachers for finalizing grades and report cards and to prepare for the next semester.
While students can look forward to two months of vacation, the date they can mark on the calendar is Wednesday, Sept. 4…that’s when classes begin for the 2024-25 school year.
