Lanes closed on busy roadway for police investigation in Mississauga

Police are asking drivers to avoid a stretch of a major road while officers investigate a crash in Mississauga.

Peel Regional Police put out the notice shortly before 7:45 p.m. on Friday, saying the southbound lanes of Creditview Road have been closed between Eglinton Avenue and South Parade Court.

Police said the roadway was closed due to an ongoing collision investigation. They didn’t release any details about the crash.

Drivers are being asked to avoid the area and find alternate routes while the investigation is underway.
