Deshawn Davis is wanted for kidnapping and is one of Canada's most wanted fugitives.

A $100,000 reward is still on the line as the accused kidnapper in an unsolved abduction and murder case with links to Mississauga and Brampton has landed on a list of Canada’s most wanted and dangerous fugitives.

Elnaz Hajtimiri was last seen in January 2022 when Ontario Provincial Police say suspects in balaclavas and wearing fake police vests abducted her from her relative’s home in Wasaga Beach.

The OPP have charged the missing woman’s ex-boyfriend Mohamad Lilo in both the “invasion-style” abduction, her alleged assault weeks earlier, and a first-degree murder charge.

Several arrests have been made in the case, including two women from Brampton and Etobicoke who have had their charges stayed.

But police are still on the hunt for Deshawn Davis, who has been charged with kidnapping in Hajtimiri’s abduction.

Elnaz Hajtamiri is shown in an Ontario Provincial Police handout photo.

Police have said that in January 2022 three suspects in balaclavas and wearing fake police vests abducted Hajtamiri from a relative’s home in Wasaga Beach, where her family said she was hiding out after alleged threats from her ex-boyfriend escalated.

She was then forced into an awaiting white Lexus RX350 SUV.

Police say Davis also goes by the alias “Thorobread” an a warrant has been issued for his arrest. A $100,000 reward is being offered by the OPP and York Regional Police to anyone who brings forward information that leads to Hajtamiri whereabouts.

Davis is described as a Black male standing approximately 6’1″ and weighing around 175 pounds.

Anyone with information on Davis’ whereabouts or the kidnapping of Elnaz Hajtimiri is asked to contact the OPP by calling 1-888-310-1122 or their local police.
