July 31 Weather: 38C and mainly cloudy day ahead in southern Ontario

It will be a mostly overcast day in Mississauga and across southern Ontario on the final day of July.

Wednesday will see a chance of showers, but the skies will be mostly cloudy according to the latest weather forecast by Environment Canada.

It will be another hot, muggy day as a scorching 30 degrees Celsius is expected though it will feel even hotter at 38 degrees Celsius with the humidex.

The wind won’t help much with it being at 20 km/hr. early in the afternoon. The UV index is 9 or very high.

The evening will be party cloudy with fog patches developing overnight. A low of 20 degrees Celsius is on tap for the overnight hours.

We will lose another three minutes of daylight, with the total dropping to 14 hours and 36 minutes. Sunrise takes place at 6:07 a.m. and then the sun will set in the evening at 8:43 p.m.
