July 30 Weather: Hot and chances of thunderstorms in southern Ontario

Good chance Tuesday (July 30) will be a wet one in Mississauga and across southern Ontario.

There will be a good chance of rain and thunderstorms over the next few days as we head through the rest of the week according to the latest weather forecast by Environment Canada.

Tomorrow we will wake up to cloudy skies that will be move in through the morning hours into the afternoon where we will get a 40 percent chance of showers along with the risk of a thunderstorm.

It will be a very muggy day with the high hitting 28 degrees Celsius, though it will feel more like 36 degrees Celsius with the humidex. The UV index will be 6 or high.

The evening will see partly cloudy skies. It should be a wet one as there will be a 60 percent chance of showers through evening and after midnight with the risk again of a thunderstorm.

The overnight low is expected to be 20 degrees Celsius.

The sunlight hours get less and less.

There will be less daylight hours, with 14 hours and 39 minutes in total. The sun will rise at 6:05 a.m. and then set in the evening at 8:44 p.m.
