July 28 Weather: Sunshine and 30 C temperatures coming to southern Ontario

It will be heating up in southern Ontario today with sunshine and humid weather.
After a fairly hot and muggy week, it looks like the warm vibes will last a bit longer.
For those who appreciate a beautiful morning sky, today’s sunrise will begin at 6 a.m.
Mississauga, Brampton, Halton, Hamilton and Durham residents will wake up to sunshine and crystal clear skies.
Temperatures will soar to 30 C in Mississauga, Brampton, Halton, and Hamilton, while Durham will be slightly cooler at 29 C. The UV index will be very high at level 9.
Environment Canada advises protecting your skin when the UV index is three or higher, particularly between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m
However, it will feel significantly uncomfortable as the humidex is anticipated to reach between 33 and 36.
Additionally, Health Canada says that if outdoors, individuals should seek shade, wear protective clothing and hats, apply SPF 30 or higher sunscreen, avoid tanning, use UV-protective sunglasses and stay hydrated throughout the day.
Sunset begins at 8:43 p.m. —seven minutes earlier than last week.
By the evening, the skies will remain clear as temperatures drop to 16 C in Mississauga, Brampton and Hamilton. In Halton and Durham, it will be 16 C.
The remainder of the week will bring a few more sunny days, with the rest being cloudy. Rain may also return on Wednesday.
Daytime highs will range between 27 C and 30 C, while nighttime temperatures are expected to slip between 17 C and 20 C.
