Thursday will start under cloudy skies, but it’s nothing but sun ahead for residents in Mississauga and southern Ontario over the next few days.

It will be mainly cloudy in the morning hours with winds northwest at 30 km/hr. and gusting to 50 km/hr. later in the morning according to the latest weather forecast by Environment Canada.

Skies should begin to clear in the afternoon hours with a high of 25 degrees Celsius expected during the day, thought the humidex will make it feel more like 30 degrees Celsius.

The UV index will be 6 or high.

It will be clear skies as we head into the evening hours. Winds will be north at 30 km/hr. becoming light later in the evening.

An overnight low of 14 degrees Celsius is expected.

Forecasts have nothing but sun for the remainder of the week.

There will be another two minutes less of daylight on Thursday, with the total time hitting 14 hours and 49 minutes. The sunrise is at 6 a.m. and the sun will set earlier again at 8:49 p.m.
