Located at 4555 Hurontario St., Sushiya Bloom officially opened its doors on Nov. 27, bringing bold flavours and a diverse menu.

Food options include appetizers like agedashi tofu (deep-fried tofu with teriyaki sauce), jap-chae (stir-fried glass noodles), and takoyaki (octopus-filled balls).

For those who prefer Korean classics, bulgogi (marinated grilled beef) and spicy kimchi fried rice are must-tries.

Patrons can pair their meals with a selection of wines, sake or Japanese beer.

For dessert, offerings include mochi ice cream, green tea cheesecake or tempura bananas with caramel sauce.

Sushiya Bloom is open Sunday to Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., making it a convenient stop for both lunch and dinner.
