It’s going to be 22 C this week in southern Ontario

Get ready to hang up those coats and stash the umbrellas, as southern Ontario is set to heat up this week!
It looks like sunshine is back in the forecast every day this week, bringing a taste of summer with double-digit highs on some days.
Sunday will bring sunshine with some cloud coverage, though it will be on the cooler side with a high of 10 C and evening lows of around 8 C.
Monday will start cloudy with a chance of rain, though glimpses of sunshine are expected throughout the day. Temperatures will reach a comfortable 17 C, with evening lows staying mild at 13 C.
Last week, Durham Region and Mississauga hit record highs on Halloween, Oct. 31. The thermometer reached 22.8 C at Toronto Pearson Airport in Mississauga, tying a record set in 1971.
A similar unseasonal trend is set to hit on Tuesday, with temperatures soaring to 22 C—making it the warmest day of the week! It will be mostly sunny with cloudy periods, while evening lows will drop to a chilly 10 C.
Daytime highs will gradually cool from Wednesday onwards, falling from 14 C to 10 C by the weekend. Evening lows will settle back into the single digits, ranging between 2 C and 4 C. Sunshine is also expected to stick around, with only a few clouds drifting in.
