Investigation into stolen car in Brampton sends man to local trauma centre

Peel Regional Police in Brampton is investigating following an incident involving a stolen vehicle that sent a man to a local trauma centre early Monday (May 30).
According to police, officers were called to the area of Steelwell and Tomken Roads in Brampton shortly before 7 a.m. in regards to an unoccupied stolen vehicle.
Officers then reportedly located suspects who then tried to flee.
An adult male was injured and transported to a local trauma centre in stable condition, and a police spokesperson said it is believed that the injured man is a suspect related to the incident.
Police and paramedics were not immediately able to comment on the nature of the man’s injuries.
