A “gorgeous” Mississauga house, complete with a theatre, gym, wine cellar and even an indoor hockey rink, was one of the most expensive homes sold in the Greater Toronto Area this month.

The house located at 1285 Tecumseh Park Drive in Lorne Park made real estate company Zoocasa’s list of the most expensive homes sold in August.

It was bought for $6 million, under the asking price of $6,888,000.

The home was previously sold in 2017 for $3,800,000 and the latest purchase price marks an approximately 58 per cent jump from that figure.

The 8,229 square foot house sits on a 1.52 acre lot and was redesigned in 2017.

It has five bedrooms, seven baths and space to park 13 vehicles.

The house has an open concept and also features heated marble floors, a living room with a wet bar, built-in surround sound and several walkouts to a garden.

The basement has a gym, theatre, rec room, wine cellar and most notably, a hockey rink.

And heading outside, the backyard has a pool, hot tub, sauna, and kitchenette.

The home was also featured as INsauga’s house of the week last month.

While $6 million is a big price tag, it’s not the most expensive home sold in the GTA this month. That title goes a house that sold in North York for $10,400,000.
