A growing Indian vegetarian restaurant has added two new spots to help satisfy your hunger for halwa puri, craving for chana kulcha, or desire for desserts originating from the subcontinent.
Rajdhani Sweets & Resturant has recently opened new locations in both Mississauga and Brampton. Culinary creators Ashwani and Vijaluxmi Saihgpaul, who are marking the 20-year anniversary of Rajdhani in 2022, have opened at 2-5390 Terry Fox Way in Mississauga and at 60 Biscayne Cres. in Brampton (by the Costco, in a brick-and-mortar location that was once a Paramount Fine Foods).
Along with an all-vegetarian menu and buffet, Rajdhani locations also include a takeout sweet shop. Favourite treats among local foodies include malpua (pancakes soaked in warm sugar syrup and served with chilled sweet milk),
ras malai (a crustless cheesecake) and gulab jamun (a milk solid sweet that one Yelp! reviewer said is similar to a Timbit dipped in rosewater syrup).

Along with the new locations, Rajdhani also has four other locations in Brampton, and one apiece in Mississauga and Markham. The Saihgpauls’ original location is in at 2658 Islington Ave. in Etobicoke.
