UPDATE: Hydro pole in Brampton reportedly on fire

Motorists should likely seek alternative routes to avoid an area in Brampton, where police have “numerous calls for reports of a hydro pole on fire.”
While details are very preliminary, Peel Regional Police say that the affected area is around the Humber West Parkway and Castlemore Road in Brampton.
A report was received around 10:03 p.m. on Tuesday (May 24).

Update: A Twitter user said the fire had been doused. It was apparently on the southeast corner of the street near the intersection.

There was a similar fire just two days ago. On Sunday morning, Brampton firefighters quelled a hydro pole fire in the area of Bramalea Road and Williams Parkway.
