A huge and mysterious plane arrived at Pearson Airport in Mississauga yesterday (Sept. 22), and there’s been no official word on what the unmarked jet was doing here.
Self-described aviation enthusiast and YouTube video creator Ernest Gutschik tweeted images of the massive Dubai Royal Air Wing Boeing 747-400F as it landed on runway 23 just after noon on Wednesday. It had reportedly arrived from Louisville, Kentucky.

The Dubai Royal Air Wing’s 12-plane fleet is used mainly to take dignitaries on flights, including diplomatic missions. The carrier is the paramilitary airline of the government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and is used by the Emir of Dubai, the prime minister of the UAE and government officials.
The Boeing 747-400F is the largest of the fleet’s dozen aircraft.
According to blogTO, it appears this particular jet, or one with identical markings, has been stopping at locations around the world the past several weeks, including humanitarian aid flights from Dubai to Sudan and Ethiopia.
