Hospital executives are Mississauga’s highest paid public workers: Sunshine List

Executives with Trillium Health Partners were the highest paid public sector workers in Mississauga in 2021.
According to the just released Public Sector Salary Disclosure – more commonly known as the Sunshine List – Trillium staff were listed as four of the top five wages earners in Mississauga last year.
The list is released each year to identify provincial and municipal government workers who earn more than $100,000 annually. The purpose of the list is to provide transparency into the spending patterns of government bodies and agencies.
The top local earner was Michelle DiEmanuele, president of Trillium Health Partners, which oversees Credit Valley, Mississauga and Queensway hospitals. She made $685,368.02 in 2021.
A former recipient of the Order of Ontario, DiEmanuele has since been seconded to serve as the head of Ontario’s public service and the deputy minister to Premier Doug Ford.
Next on the list is Dr. Dante Mora, chief of staff at Trillium, who made $584,033.46 last year.
Karli Farrow, current president of Trillium and formerly executive vice-president, patient care and services and chief operating officer at the hospital system, earned $509,575.61.
Bridget Fewtrell, president and chief executive officer of ErinoakKids Centre for Treatment and Development is next at $482,883.75. ErinoakKids is a medical, therapeutic and support service centre for children and youth with physical and developmental disabilities.
Kathryn Hayward-Murray, vice-president and chief nursing executive at Trillium is on the list at $430,713.13.
