Police are searching for two suspects in an early morning home invasion where robbers tried and failed to steal a victim’s vehicle in Caledon.
The break-in happened before 6 a.m. on Tuesday at a home on Crestridge Drive in Caledon, the OPP said in a release.
Investigators say two men wearing face coverings forcefully broke into the home and demanded the keys to the victim’s vehicle. But police say the would-be robbers never got their hands on the keys and fled the scene in a navy blue or dark-coloured hatchback.
No injuries were reported in the break-in and no property was stolen from the home, police said.
Police are searching for two suspects described as a Black male and a white male. Both were wearing dark-coloured hoodies and face coverings at the time of the break-in.
