Hit-and-run crash leads to charges after driver injured in Caledon

Police have charged an Ontario driver with dangerous operation following a hit-and-run crash that injured one person in Caledon.

The crash happened on Oct. 5 around 5:30 a.m. on The Gore Road, just south of Finnerty Sideroad in Caledon, the OPP says.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision and police say one of the drivers fled the scene.

Police said the driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries in the crash.

A 27-year-old man from Tottenham was arrested and charged with multiple offences.

The OPP says Tevaughn Brown, 27, of Tottenham has been charged with fail to remain and dangerous operation.

The accused is scheduled to make a court appearance on Nov. 7 to answer the charges.
