A highway on-ramp in Mississauga will likely be closed until late Wednesday night for clean-up after a tractor-trailer rollover.
The Ontario Provincial Police related that a tractor-trailer that was carrying a load bottled iced tea had a crash on the on-ramp from eastbound Derry Road to the northbound Highway 410. The driver was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The clean-up effort, which includes off-loading the cargo and uprighting the rig and the trailers, is expected to take until 10 p.m.
The OPP says the driver came off of the overpass and hung a right on to the ramp before rolling over. The crash is being investigated and speed has not been ruled out as a contributor to the crash.
