High end shoe store gets robbed in Mississauga

Four suspects are on the loose after allegedly breaking into a retail store in Mississauga’s Port Credit and making off with merchandise.
On Friday (Nov. 17) at approximately 5 p.m., police say four individuals targeted a high-end shoe and athletic gear retailer situated in the vicinity of Lakeshore Road and Hurontario Street.
The establishment that appears to be the target of this crime “Pure 10” —though not confirmed by police is known to sell vintage and limited addition footwear and apparel and falls within the same area the robbery occurred.
Additionally, a photo shared by a Reddit user hours after the incident, depicts one of the exterior windows smashed of Pure 10, with shattered glass strewn across the pavement. In the image, an officer is also visible near the entrance.
Police told insauga.com that the perpetrators made a hasty departure after taking multiple items. However, the details of the stolen items and their value are still under investigation.
Authorities have refrained from disclosing specifics about the altercation or whether a weapon was involved.
It is unknown how many customers or employees were inside the store when the theft took place, however, police confirmed with insauga.com that no physical injuries were reported.
As of now, no arrests have been executed, and the investigation has been taken over by the Robbery Bureau.
