Here Were the Most Borrowed Books from Brampton Library in 2017

Having fun isn’t hard when you have a library card! Am I right?
It’s no secret that Brampton Library is an incredible community resource and extremely popular amongst Bramptonians in general. The system’s seven current locations offer a variety of services like 3D printing, online newspaper and book downloads, free e-learning services, programming for newcomers, workshops on career success, book clubs, and beyond.
But, of course, all six libraries do lend all kinds of books, from young adult fiction, to adult non-fiction, to juvenile fiction, and beyond! And it seems like Bramptonians did a lot of reading this year.
Some books were more popular than others, though.
According to Brampton Library, here were some of the most borrowed books across the Brampton Library system in 2017, categorized by type of novel:
All of the most borrowed books system-wide this year were from the juvenile fiction category:
1) Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Parts one and two by J.K. Rowling – 966 (times borrowed)
2) Away in a Star Sled, by Geronimo Stilton – 871
3) Bollywood Burglary, by Geronimo Stilton – 868
4) Pull the Dragon’s Tooth!, by Geronimo Stilton – 831
5) Magical Mission, by Geronimo Stilton – 821
Several adult fiction novels were borrowed a significant number of times throughout the year, too:
1) The Whistler: a novel, by John Grisham – 624
2) The Mistress: a novel, by Danielle Steele – 565
3) Camino Island: a novel, by John Grisham – 432
4) Into the Water: a novel, by Paula Hawkins – 426
5) The Girl on the Train: a novel, by Paula Hawkins – 410
Adult non-fiction novels were quite popular in 2017:
