Here are the best places to work in Ontario

Finding a good place to work in Ontario can be challenging, particularly as the employment rate is on a downward trend.

The employment rate—the proportion of the population aged 15 and older who are employed—fell 0.2 percentage points to 60.9 per cent in July, according to the July 2024 Labour Force Survey from Statistics Canada.

The employment rate has followed a downward trend since reaching a high of 62.4 per cent in January and February 2023 and has fallen in nine of the last 10 months, the report states.
